Hi! I’m Jon.

I’m a Field Artillery Officer
in the Marine Corps,

I received my commission as a Marine Corps officer in November 2021.

I subsequently attended the Basic Officer Course and the Marine Artillery Officer Basic Course.

a former high school math teacher,

I had the privilege of teaching over 360 students in Richmond, California from 2017-2019.

I was the Math Department Chair and taught Algebra 1 and AP Calculus AB.

I also served on my school’s Instructional Leadership Team and School Site Council.

and an advocate for stronger, more equitable communities.
